Paying between £20,000 and £21,000, 25 days holiday as standard and a very comprehensive benefit package, you’ll be supporting the Company’s employees, across all departments, on laptops and phone handsets. You will be providing 1st level IT support to users in the field & via remote access, assisting other IT Team members during busy periods.
We're looking for someone with a good level of common sense who will use their initiative to not only ensure that issues are sorted but will take action to ensure the same issues don't happen, wherever possible for others.
Know your way around Microsoft Office products
Microsoft Windows support knowledge, including troubleshooting common laptop issues such as wireless network problems, printer (and other device) connectivity issues
Knowledge of wireless networks: setting them up, diagnosing the cause of, repairing, or liaising with Service providers, to rectify broadband problems
Understanding of the internal workings of laptops components (e.g. installation of memory, replacement of parts, etc.)
Understanding of Group domain policies (Windows)
Specific IT based Qualifications
Experience of working with or supporting Android mobile devices (phones and tablets)
Project management experience
Knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, Hangouts, etc.)
Knowledge of Kaspersky Security Software
Knowledge of Mobile Iron (mobile device manager)
